PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy applies in order to provide protection to the User on the www.usaria.mx website, owned by Web Usability S.C. (hereinafter USARIA). The use or navigation by any person of the abovementioned website confers them the status of User.

1. Type of information gathered

The concept of “personal data” in this policy refers to all personal information (such as name, birth date, address, or e-mail) that may be used for User identification.

This privacy policy covers all personal data that users voluntarily submit to the website subject to this policy during their registration process and on any other occasion. USARIA may use the Internet Protocol address for administrative systems or to gather some additional information, which will also be deemed confidential.

2. Privacy statement

USARIA does not gather personal data about the User unless the User provides that information voluntarily, when registering on the aforementioned website or when sending an e-mail or other form of communication addressed to USARIA.

In accordance with the abovementioned terms, the User understands and agrees that this privacy policy does not apply to the information provided by the User voluntarily by communicating with other people through electronic correspondence, in chats, or other similar activities. It is the User’s responsibility to be prudent in terms of the type of information they provide when participating in these public activities. USARIA is not responsible for the privacy or data collection policies of third-party providers of products or services or for the way those third-party providers of services or products use the information the User provides.

6. Modification / update / elimination of personal information

The personal data provided by the User shall be part of a file that will contain their profile. By accessing this file, the User may modify / update these data at any time. USARIA advises that the User update their data whenever they undergo any type of change, as this will enable USARIA to provide the User with a more personalized service.

When processing personal data, USARIA undertakes to ensure that its staff and the mechanisms on the website meet the security and confidentiality standards necessary to ensure the safety, integrity, and privacy of the information collected from users on the website. USARIA will take reasonable steps to enable users to update their personal data, and when the User requests so, USARIA shall seek to eliminate the User’s record and their personal data from the database systematically; however, it may be impossible to completely delete the User’s data due to security backup copies and records of the removed data.

7. Personal information protection

The information provided by the user is protected by various security mechanisms. The User may gain access to their information using these mechanisms. Since no Internet transmission can guarantee its security at 100%, USARIA cannot guarantee that the information transmitted using its service is completely safe; therefore, the User is running their own risk. The User is the only person responsible for keeping their password and account information assigned by USARIA secret. To reduce risks, USARIA recommends that the User exit their account and close their browser window when their activity ends, even more so if they share their computer with someone or use a computer in public place, such as a library or Internet cafe.

8. Policy acceptance

This confidentiality / privacy statement, which describes USARIA’s Privacy Policy, constitutes a valid agreement between the User and USARIA; if the User uses USARIA’s services or provides personal data through any contact forms on the USARIA website, this means that they have read, understood, accepted, and therefore agreed with USARIA on the terms set out above. If the User does not agree with them, the User shall NOT provide any personal information, or use this service or any information related to the website.
